Matcha workshops and events in Zürich.
We bring matcha to events. You can book a hands-on workshop, where your guests learn to make matcha drinks, or a matcha bar, where we serve your guests. We bring all the equipment and ingredients, and we plan the session around your event.

The workshop
Learn to make matcha drinks in a hands-on workshop.
We begin with a short introduction: what matcha actually is, what makes a good one taste different from an ordinary one, and where the tradition comes from. That part is deliberately brief. We spend most of the session on the hands-on part — making matcha drinks.
Everyone gets their own set of equipment and makes each drink with us guiding them. They learn how much matcha to use, why the water temperature matters, and how to whisk to the perfect foam. By the end, each participant will be able to make the drinks again at home.
The workshop format works well as a team afternoon or as an event for your customers. They learn something they didn't know, make something with their hands, and leave with a skill they will use again.
No experience is needed — most guests will have only ever bought matcha in a café. We can run the session in English or German.

The bar
We serve your guests.
We set up at your venue and serve a select menu of matcha drinks during your event. Guests choose what they would like and we make each drink fresh to order.
You can have the bar open for the whole event or for a set period. The drinks can be included as part of your hosting, or your guests can pay for them individually.
This works well for weddings, celebrations, openings and parties. It also gives you a good option for guests who aren't drinking alcohol, which is often the hardest part of a drinks list to get right.

The drinks
What we make
Whether we are serving your guests or teaching them, we work from the same repertoire, and we create a select menu together with you. It runs from the classics to drinks of our own:
We serve matcha hot, iced or sparkling, and we are glad to develop something specific for your event.

Who we work with.
Studios, companies and venues
We work with all kinds of hosts: studios, offices, shops, hotels and event spaces. That might be a ceramics studio running a paint-and-matcha afternoon, a yoga studio offering a matcha making workshop after class, a shop hosting an evening for its customers, or an office putting on something for the team.
Weddings and celebrations
We also do weddings, birthdays and anniversaries. For a wedding, the bar suits a full guest list. For a smaller group, the workshop works well — a bridal party, a family afternoon, or the day before the wedding.
Supply
Serving and selling Oku
Some of the places we work with want matcha for their own menu, and some want to sell the tins alongside what they already stock. We can supply both, and train your team to make the drinks using our own recipes, adapted to how you serve. If that's of interest, tell us what you have in mind.
The matcha we use.
Oku is our own matcha — ceremonial matcha, from Uji in Japan, shade-grown and picked at the first harvest. It's what we teach with and what we serve, and it's the tin your guests take home.
